Translation is one of the most important tools for knowledge transfer, especially for the academic community, so translation of a book like its original version has a special value and importance. One of the most valuable and academic books is "Microeconomic Analysis" which is written by Hal. R Varian which is one of the top scientific sources of MICROECONOMICS. Ney Publishing has published this book which is translated by Mr. Reza Hosseini and now it is one of the educational resources of MICROECONOMICS in postgraduate studies in Iranian universities. Given the valuable position of this book, its translation requires a critical review and this article has tried to evaluate the weaknesses and strengths of this book according to the analytical-descriptive method by quantitative and qualitative analysis. It means discussing the appearance features, writing, edition, idiomatic translations, and text translation. It has been concluded that the translation of this book is quantitatively acceptable, but it has qualitative disadvantages that are not sufficient for the translation of an academic scientific book. It is suggested that due to the numerous editions of the book's translation and its importance, the next editions of this translation should be reviewed and the proposed corrections can be considered.

New generation of growth models considers the effects of financial development on economic growth. The new financial literature takes a micro approach with emphasis on the external finance. In this research we examine the empirical relationship between capital market and economic growth, encompassing 27 superior firms of Tehran Stock Exchange during 1380-1390, which may being considered as a financial investigation in Iran’s Capital Market at the firm level.This paper is organized to examine the hypothesis that the external finance increases the sales and output growth rate of firms in Tehran Exchange, and therefore the aggregate economic growth. The results obtained in this paper through generalized method of moments (GMM) analysis indicate that financing both banks and capital market respectively, has increased sales and growth rate to 65.3 and 53.8 in our sample. Furthermore the sales growth rate of 27 firms that used external finance has a positive and significant relation with net sales ratio to fixed assets which indicate the positive role of capital market on economic growth in Iran. The Policy recommendation of this research is developing the capital market through definition and introduction of new financial instruments in order to absorb liquidity for efficient firms in Iran’s Capital Market.

The objective of this article is to analyze and answer two questions: "What is the appropriate textbook pattern for the endorsed Islamic economics courses? ", and "Is compiling appropriate Islamic Economics textbooks a feasible ask?" To answer these questions, the paper introduces a theoretical framework and analyses it in order to use it as a basis for presenting a pattern for Islamic economics textbooks.Then by reviewing the detailed content of an endorsed course (for instance Islamic MICROECONOMICS I), it analytically compares this content with the proposed pattern.The major finding of this article is that the appropriate proposed pattern for Islamic economic textbooks has 9 main characteristics that have been considered in the endorsed content of Islamic MICROECONOMICS I.

Dams as one of the most important and massive engineering structures demand more attention due to their complex analysis. The enormous dimension of the dam and its interaction with the FOUNDATION and reservoir domain make it difficult to fully consider all analytical aspects. In order to study the whole system, researchers usually try to develop simplifying methods to consider the real conditions of dam-reservoir-FOUNDATION systems. The obtained results in recent years have indicated that the proposed methods are complicated and time consuming. Considering these limitations, design codes usually propose some simple assumptions for analysis, especially for the initial study phases. However, the implication of these primary methods may lead to overestimated responses that are usually conservative. The massless FOUNDATION is one of the most important simplifying assumptions in the analysis process of the dam-reservoir-FOUNDATION system, which has been considered broadly by dam designers based on its simple application. However, the obtained results during recent years have indicated that the massed FOUNDATION assumption has profound effects on structure dynamic responses and should be considered in the analyses. In this study, the far-end boundary condition of FOUNDATION (Lysmer Boundary Condition) and semi-infinite element for the FOUNDATION have been investigated for the analysis of the dam-reservoir-FOUNDATION system. In the proposed method, although the mass of FOUNDATION has been considered, the seismic load would be imposed on dam body of concrete gravity dam. The analyses have been carried out under different time histories including broadband of Peak Ground Acceleration (PGA). The dam responses due to massless FOUNDATION assumption have been investigated for comparison. The comparison of the obtained results and those of the traditional method clearly indicates the capability and efficiency of the proposed method. Furthermore, the far-end boundary condition of FOUNDATION and semi-infinite elements considerably reduced the time and cost of the analysis; therefore, these could be practical approaches to preliminary analyses that might be useful for engineers and researchers.
